What happens if I cancel my Founding Membership?
If you cancel, your Founding Member status ends immediately. You move to the Free tier. If you choose to resubscribe later, the $6.99 price is no longer available — you would join as a standard Plus subscriber at $12.99/month. The locked price and Founding Member badge cannot be reinstated once cancelled. We recommend pausing your subscription if you are unsure — contact us at hello@amperly.com.au.
Is the $6.99 price really locked forever?
Yes. The price-lock guarantee is written into our Terms of Service. As long as your subscription remains active, you will never be charged more than $6.99/month regardless of how much the Plus price increases. This is a contractual commitment from Purple Peppercorn Pty Ltd trading as Amperly — not a marketing promise.
How does the 10 new DM conversation limit work exactly?
The limit applies only to starting a conversation with someone you have never messaged before. Once someone replies, that thread is permanently open — you can send and receive unlimited messages in it forever. Room messages are always unlimited. The counter resets at midnight AEST each day. Founding Members and Plus members have no limit on new DM conversations.
Can I upgrade from Free to Founding Member at any time?
Yes — while spots remain. Once the 300 cap is reached, Founding Membership closes permanently. You can upgrade from your profile settings or from this page at any time before that happens. We recommend not waiting — when the cap closes, the only paid option is Plus at $12.99/month.
What does the Founding Member badge look like and who can see it?
The badge appears on your profile, visible to every other member on the platform. It shows as "Founding Member" in Terracotta — the same colour as our primary brand. It signals that you were one of the first 300 people on Amperly, which is a real form of social credibility on a platform built around authenticity. The badge is permanent as long as your membership remains active.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Amperly never stores your card details. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available where supported by your browser. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) including GST.
What does "30-day access" mean for the Who Viewed You add-on?
One purchase gives you 30 days of access to the full Who Viewed You list. After 30 days, the feature reverts unless you purchase again or upgrade to Founding Member or Plus — both of which include it as an ongoing benefit. The 7-day view history is always shown regardless of when you unlock.
